Caméleon, Chicago Hope, Urgences, 24h Chrono, NCIS, Esprits Criminels, etc…
-
Pouvons-nous réussir ? (épisode 1)
-
On dégage la tour (épisode 3)
-
Why have
you decided to become actor ?
I love every facet of acting for stage, film,
television.
I have worked them all.
I love the
exploration, the adventures, the travel and the opportunity to work with truly
talented people.
Why have
you decided to accept to play John Young on From the Earth to the Moon ? Have
you met him ?
It just so happens that John Young and I look
alike.
Both of us are from the state of Florida and the South.
I met John during the filming of the series
in Florida. He was still flying jets in his late 70’s.
What are
your best memories about this film ?
Well it was a large cast of many actors. Tom Hanks was there for much of it and
actually directed the first episode.
We worked in the real capsule (Apollo 18),
wore real astronaut gear and shot much of it at the Kennedy Space Center in
Cocoa Beach, Florida
I suppose
you would like to go in space. But why ?
Like many in the Space Program, I believe
there is life on other planets.
I am also enamored by the tremendous
technology and talent of the men and women who made these rockets fly.
Do you
think it's important for the mankind to have a step in space, to send man in
space and why ?
During the 60’s it was a race between Russia
and the U.S., but that had much to do with the Cold War, which is no
longer.
I think now the more important issues are
what we can find in space in the way of resources that will help us on earth.
It is only a matter of time where there will be general space travel.
What
represent for you Yuri Gagarin ?
Well he was the first, like our John
Glenn. Both men were quite heroic
because no one had preceded them and no one knew.
Both Yuri and Glenn were test pilots but the
rockets were like nothing they had ever tested before.
They are two of the most heroic men in
history.
What
represent for you Apollo 11 and which memory(ies) have you about this event?
I was fourteen and watching on TV in my
hometown of Boca Raton, Florida.
It just seemed so impossible at the time that
we were watching three men a quarter of a million miles away on the moon. It
was the first time I was able to grasp the true power of science and technology
and the magnitude and scope of the event.
What will
be your most incredible space dream ?
To be able to travel at the speed of sound
and land on a planet in another galaxy where life exists… friendly life I hope.
To find that we are not alone on Earth but a
part of something infinite.
